Jesus M. Ortiz, 85, of Garden City, Kan. passed away on May 13, 2011.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, with burial to follow in Lorenzo Cemetery, in Lorenzo, Texas. A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Jesus was born on June 19, 1925 in Kerns City, Texas to Julio and Seferina Ortiz.
He is survived by four brothers, Candelorio, Juan, Ruben, and Ramon Ortiz and four sisters; Esperanzo Serenil, Concepcion Cantu, Minga Benitez and Irma Rodriguez.
