C. P. "Packy" Whatley Jr., 93, died Wednesday March 18, 2014.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Fritch Church of Christ with Richard Kasko, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Mr. Whatley was born March 31, 1920, in Eliga to C. P. Whatley Sr. and Maude Ethel Hill Whatley. He married Caroline Adams Feb. 8, 1941, in Gatesville, and was a decorated veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a son, Joe Whatley of Fritch; two daughters, Judy Anderson and Carole Whatley, both of Fritch; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren.

FRITCH - Caroline Whatley, 81, died Friday, May 2, 2003.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Church of Christ in Fritch with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Whatley was born Oct. 18, 1921, in Ireland. She married C.P. Whatley on Feb. 8, 1941, in Batesville.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Joe Whatley of Fritch; two daughters, Judy Anderson and Carole Hogue, both of Fritch; two sisters, Genevieve Burt of Fritch and Elizabeth Brown of Gatesville; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
