*Obituary
BORGER — Doyle Henry Whitefield, 92, of Borger died Thursday, June 5, 2014, in Spearman.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Hutchinson officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Whitefield was born May 24, 1922, in Roanoke to John P. and Leah Henry Whitefield. He was a member of and a deacon of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Spearman; a son, Mike Whitefield of Midland; a sister, Lalah Smith of Durham; and two grandsons.
The family suggests memorials be to Gideons International, P.O. Box 5800, Borger, TX 79008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
