AMARILLO - Graveside services for Mildred Whitlow, 73, Amarillo, who died Sunday in St. Anthony's Hospital will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Westlawn Cemetery, with the Rev. J.E. Burkhalter, pastor of San Jacinto Assembly of God in Amarillo officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors of Borger.
A housewife, Whitlow was a native of Kent County Texas, and a Borger resident for 26 years prior to moving to Amarillo in 1972.
She is survived by one son, Bobby Adams of Amarillo; three brothers, Walter Ashton, Jr., of Sweetwater, Ben Ashton, of Farwell, Tex. and A.L. Ashton, Ralls, Tex.; three sisters, Verna Lou Ashton, Abilene, Velma Jordan, Abernathy Tex., and Ruth Rogers, Chula Vista, Calif.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Whitlow was preceded in death by her husband, O.L. "Whit" Whitlow in 1972.
