BORGER - Hazel Whittington, 86, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Hutchinson and the Rev. C.W. Parker officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Whittington was born Aug. 30, 1920, in Tucumcari, N.M. She was co-owner of C&M Furniture and the Sands Motel & Restaurant. She was a member of Altrusa Club, Bridge Club and Golf Club. Her church affiliation was with Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Whittington, in 2002.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald D. Whittington and wife Kendra of Amarillo and Eddie Whittington and wife Saundra of Borger; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Gideons International, P.O. Box 5800, Borger, TX 79008-5800 or the Altrusa Club.

The family will be at 100 Tansy in Borger.
