Obituary:
FOLLETT - Verner "Glen" Frazier, 87, died Friday, April 28, 2000.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Fairmont Cemetery with the Revs. M.D. Methvin and Marcus Adair officiating. Arrangements are by Mason Funeral Home of Shattuck, Okla.
Mr. Frazier was born in Follett, where he graduated from schools and then attended Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan. In 1955, he moved to Wichita, Kan., where he worked as an engineer for Boeing Aircraft until his retirement in 1969. He returned to Follett in 1984 and was active with the Senior Citizens.
He married Lillian Zirkel in 1960 at Follett.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Barry Franklin Frazier of Edmond, Okla.; a daughter, Glenda Lee Devoe of Edmond; a stepson, Roy Shurtz of Wichita; and a stepdaughter, Vicki McCleave of Wichita.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be to the Follett Community Center; or the American Lung Association, c/o Mason Funeral Home, P.O. Box 695, Shattuck, OK 73858.
