*Obituary
Ernest Eugene Patterson was the youngest child born to the union on William Thomas Patterson and Minnie Lee Randolph. Born in Mississippi, and moved by his mother Minnie Lee after the death *murder* of his father William Thomas Patterson to Navarro County Texas. He married Louella Keith and together they had one child Nedra.
Services were pending late Thursday with Carter Funeral Home.
Patterson was a furniture dealer before retiring to help his wife at their variety store here. He had worked at Patterson's Store until a few months prior to his death.
Born in Memphis, Tenn., Patterson later lived in Frost before moving here in 1918. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Louella; a daughter, Mrs. Nedra Austin of Orange; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.
