*Obituary
Patricia Gayle Williams was born June 21, 1945 in Leedey, Oklahoma to Dora Gayle and Arthur Frank Haney. She passed away December 6, 2013 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 15 days.
Pat grew up in western Oklahoma before moving to Lubbock, Texas. She moved to New Mexico and then to Borger, Texas in 1965 to make her home.
Pat had worked a number of years for Plains Chevrolet as a bookkeeper. She moved to Elk City in 2009 to be near her children.
She was family oriented and always looked forward to the holidays. She made the best out of everything she had and made sure she did everything she could for those she loved. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Pat left her footprints on all of the family's hearts. She was truly an amazing woman. If you knew her you knew laughter, love and a little bit of stubbornness.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Carl Ray Smith, Jr.
She is survived by 1 daughter and son-in-law, Tambra and James Halstead, Deer Park, TX; 2 sons, Tony Landreth, Elk City, OK, Ronnie Smith, Borger, TX; 2 sisters, Carol Castle, Lubbock, TX, Dorothy Kinkead, Enid, OK; 1 brother, Gene Haney, Amarillo, TX; 3 grandchildren, Misty, Tasha and Ronnie, Jr., 4 great grandchildren, Abbie, Taylor, Landyn and Ashlynn, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10:00 am at Whinery-Savage Chapel, Elk City. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Borger, Texas at 2:00 PM under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service.
