A 24-year-old Borger man was killed Wednesday in a one-vehicle accident at the Wilson-Cedar street interchange.
Timothy Lynn Willis, 506 Crockett St., was killed instantly at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. He was traveling west-bound on Wilson Street when he apparently lost control of the motorcycle he was driving and slammed into a support column beneath the Cedar Street overpass, according to Borger police.
Services for Willis will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Taylor, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.
Willis was a senior at West Texas State University in Canyon. He was a native of Borger.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James L. Willis of Borger; a brother, Stan, and a sister, Shelly, both of the home; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Willis of Dardanelle, Ark.
