Services for Annie Henry Adams, 86, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Colwell, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, at her son's residence in Temple.

She was born July 10, 1911, in Midland. She married Chester L. Henry on June 23, 1928, in Spur. He died April 8, 1977. She married Claude Adams on April 14, 1985, in Ralls. He died Oct. 18, 1997. She was a member of Ralls First United Methodist Church. She was a mother adviser to the Rainbow Girls from 1950 to 1951, and she was president of the Ralls Band Boosters from 1959 to 1960. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 169, where she served as worthy matron from 1954 to 1955. She was named Ralls Woman of the Year in 1980, and she was the Ralls Senior Citizen of the Year in 1983. She moved to Estacado in 1937, and she moved to Ralls from Farmer in 1977.

She and her husband had farmed until 1977. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Fred J. of Temple and Lee D. of Abilene; three stepdaughters, Frances Adame of Los Angeles, Calif., Claudia Anderson of El Paso and Patricia Scales of Lubbock; a brother, James Berry Greenwood Jr. of Hereford; seven grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
