*Obituary
Ethel Wilson, 79, of 1229 Jackson, died at 1:35 p.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital.
A housewife, she was a native of Pendleton, Ore., and a Borger resident for 54 years.
She was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Women of Rotary, life member of United Methodist Women, 20th Century Club and active in choosing Girls State.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Wilson; three daughters, Mrs. Gene Schneider of Borger, Mrs. Barbara Parker of Tampa, Fla. and Mrs. Sandra Jolly of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Lee Bittner of Grapeview, Wash. and Chet Bittner of Pendleton, Ore.; one sister, Edith Barrette of Eugene, Ore; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
The family will be staying at 1811 Boyd.
