Funeral services for Asa W. "Tex" Woodfin, 65, of 401 Pueblo, Fritch, will be at 2 p.m. Friday from the Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Moore of Clarendon, officiating.

Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.

Woodfin was born Aug. 23, 1906 in Crosbyton. He has been an area resident for the past 31 years. He was a member of Local Union 196.

Survivors include his wife, Maurette of the home; one son, Asa Doyle Woodfin of Amarillo; three brothers, Arie Woodfin of Muleshoe, Alsie of Borger, Eldron of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Neal R. Stone of Pueblo, Colo., Mrs. Leonard O. Story and Mrs. Raymond O. Davis, both of Bethany, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be Dalton Riddle, Jim Day, Jimmy Bristow, Carl Buchanan, Luther Hall, Jerry Hall.
