Rosary for Juan Arguello, 77, of Ralls will be at 7:00 PM Thursday, July 8, 2010 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday, July 9, 2010 at the same church with Rev. Ernesto Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Juan passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born May 6, 1933 in Gonzales to the late Juan and Epifania (Chavez) Arguello. On September 10, 1959 he married Frances Martinez in Lubbock.

He moved to the Ralls area 41 years ago from Lubbock. Juan was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a Cursillista.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Belen and Lucito Arguello; and two sisters, Estella Ramon and Carolina Cano.

Survivors include, his wife Frances of Ralls; six sons, Juan Arguello, Jr. of Edinburg, Ramon Arguello (Lucy) of Ralls, Stevie Arguello of Ralls, Benny Arguello (Paulina) of Lubbock, Joshua Arguello of Ralls, Abraham Arguello (Katherine) of Lorenzo; five daughters, Connie Arguello (Steve) of Lorenzo, Epifania Ramos (Tim) of Bay City, MI, Monica Valdez (Guillermo) of Lubbock, Crystal Garcia of Ralls, Venessa Cortez (Daniel) of Lubbock; three brothers, Emilio Arguello of Lubbock, Margarito Arguello of Lorenzo, Miguel Arguello of Levelland; four sisters, Soledad Salas of Lubbock, Celia Garcia of Lubbock, Maria Salas of Idalou, Lucia Garcia of Idalou 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
