Earl B. Autry, 78, of Ralls died about 7:50 a.m. Saturday at his home.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church in Ralls with the Rev. Vernon O´Kelly, minister, officiating. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

A native of Lebanon, Okla., Autry moved to Ralls in 1944 from Leon County. Autry was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Earl Autry of Brownsville and William Autry of Ralls; a stepson, T.J. Thompson of Lubbock; three daughters, Mrs. Maggie Smith of Fort Stockton, and Mrs. Gerrold Long and Mrs. Glenn Stephens, both of Wichita Falls; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Gene Reed of Floydada; a brother, Luke Autry of Ralls; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Pinkerton and Mrs. Florida Holland, both of Oklahoma City, 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
