FRITCH - Aubrey Worene Worthey, 71, died Thursday, June 11, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Fritch Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Darrell Trout, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in The Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Mr. Worthey was born in Direct and had been a resident of Fritch for 54 years, having moved from Paris, Texas. He was an instrumentation supervisor at Phillips Petroleum Co. and a member of Fritch Assembly of God Church.
He married Bernice Taylor in 1945 at Borger.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Terry Worthey of Fritch and Larry T. Worthey of San Diego; a brother, David Worthey of Paris; four sisters, Louise Thomas, Margie Havins and Doretha Lane, all of Paris, and Elwanda Blackshear of Tigertown; and two grandsons.
