BORGER - Funeral services for J.D. Anderson, 56, who had been employed as a shipping foreman for J.M. Huber Corp. here for many years, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church.

The Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Anderson, a resident of Borger since 1926, was dead on arrival Thursday morning at North Plains Hospital after suffering a heart attack.

He is survived by his wife, Frances; a son, John D. of Irving; three daughters, Mrs. Jim Stephenson of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Dean Hudson of Houston and Miss Sue Anderson, a student at West Texas State University; a brother, W.F. "Dubb" of Borger; two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Ingram of Borger and Mrs. D.A. Moore of Freeport, and three grandchildren.

LUBBOCK - Frances Anderson, 89, formerly of Borger, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains in Borger with Jim Stephenson and Eddie Emerson officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger.

Mrs. Anderson was born Oct. 28, 1917, in Armstrong County. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Borger.

Survivors include a son, John D. Anderson of Lubbock; three daughters, Jean Stephenson and Sue Emerson, both of Lubbock, and Linda Hudson of Addison; a brother, Bob Hutson of Van Vleck; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
