Funeral services for Anna Peters, age 71 of Seminole, Texas will be held Saturday May 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Colony Mennonite Church with Bishop Abram Thiessen officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Peters was born July 17, 1949 in Durango, Mexico to Mary (Bergen) and Abram Peters. She married John Peters in Ontario, Canada August 9, 1970. She was a member of the Old Colony Mennonite Church and was a housewife. She was a very devoted wife and mother.
Anna Peters passed away May 5, 2021 at Seminole Memorial Hospital in Seminole. She is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, John Peters of Seminole; three sons, John Peters and wife Tina, Aaron Peters and wife Lena, and David Peters, all of Seminole; four daughters, Anna Loeppky and husband Abe, Tina Wiebe and husband Willie, and Martha Hamm and husband John, all of Kansas, and Sara Peters and husband Ben, of Lamesa, Texas; three brothers, Jacob Peters and wife Mary of Paris, Texas, John Peters and wife Nelly of Kansas, and David Peters and wife Lisa of Oklahoma; and two sisters, Mary Neufeld and Margaret Reimer and husband Neal of Seminole, Texas; 32 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
