Funeral services for Gerhard Klassen, age 84 of Seminole, Texas will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Community Church with Pastor Dave Klassen officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Klassen was born in Mexico December 30, 1936 to Aganetha (Driedger) and Herman Klassen. He married Helena Fehr in Mexico June 20, 1959. He was a member of Community Church and worked as a farmer. He loved planting trees and tending to his fruit garden, as well as listening to music, reading the bible, traveling and learning about history; and he could fix almost anything.

Gerhard Klassen passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Memorial Health Care Center in Seminole.

He is preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, and nine sisters. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helena Klassen of Seminole; two sons, Herman Klassen and wife Agetha of Seagraves, Texas and Gerardo Klassen and wife Catherine of Seminole; three daughters, Aganetha Rempel and husband Franz of Seminole, Lena Reimer and husband John of Wolfforth, Texas and Anita Voth and husband Ernesto of Canada; one sister, Justina Dyck of Canada; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
