BORGER - Jim Blackman, 78, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Christian Church in Borger. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.

Jim was born Nov. 12, 1931, in Pampa to William and Florene Smith Blackman. He worked in maintenance for Phillips Petroleum. He married Ann Williamson on June 8, 1952, in Borger. He was a member the First Christian Church and the Unity Masonic Lodge No. 1242. Mr. Blackman also served in Korea as a member of the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Blackman, on June 15, 2003.

Survivors include two sons, Owen Blackman and wife Judy of Graham and Bruce Blackman of Borger; two daughters, Cynthia Ensey and husband Lynn of Amarillo and Mitzi Flores of Borger; two sisters, Betty Miser of Borger and Linda York and husband Don of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Blackman, Steve Hoyl, Eugene Velasquez, Scot Castleberry, Tracy Keck and Jesse Glaesman.

BORGER - Ann Blackman, 69, died Sunday, June 15, 2003.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Christian Church with Lyndon Glaesman and Penny Glaesman officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Blackman was a surgical technician at North Plains Hospital in Borger. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jim; two sons, Owen Blackman of Breckenridge and Bruce Blackman of Eugene, Ore.; two daughters, Cynthia Ann Ensey of Amarillo and Mitzi Blackman of Wortham; a brother, Billy Joe Williamson of Oklahoma City; a sister, Ethylene Lilly of Perryton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
