*Obituary
Danny Ross Blain, 45, 2304 Farwell, Amarillo, was killed in a car wreck Friday 25 miles west of Memphis.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lyman Paul Wood, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
A native of Girard, he lived in Borger for 18 years before moving to Amarillo two years ago. He was employed as a business administrator by Srook, Corp.
He was a member of the Methodist Church, and was past president of the Borger Jaycees and Borger Boy's Club. He was a member of the Outfit in Amarillo. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Blain was employed by the First National Bank in Borger for nine years, and was vice president of Panhandle Bank & Trust for four years. He was president of the First National Bank in Stamford for one year.
Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Strand of Stamford, and Karen Roberts of Amarillo; two sons, Danny Blain of Amarillo, and Jeffery Blain of Abilene; two brothers, Kenneth Blain of Borger, and Lovel Blain of Yorktown; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Lemmond of Hugo, Okla., and Mary Frances of Yorktown; and three grandchildren.
