Services for Dewy S. Bond, 81, of 910 Western were held at 2 p.m. today in First Christian Church, with the Rev. Jeff Holder, officiating.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A native of Bonham, Mr. Bond had been a Borger resident 53 years. He was former owner of Bond & Son Drilling Co., and worked in the oil industry until his retirement, after which he operated the Atex Service Station on Cedar St.

He was a member of the First Christian Church and IOOF Lodge No. 94.

Survivors are his wife, two sons, a daughter, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Dorothy D. Bond, 79, Borger, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 1994 in Borger.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Tom Harrison, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor Bible Baptist Church.

Graveside rites will be conducted by Borger Rebekah Lodge No. 281 in Highland Park Cemetery.

Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Whitesboro, she had been a Borger resident since 1937. She was retired owner of Atex Service Station. She was a member of First Christian Church, and Rebekah Lodge No. 281. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey S. Bond in 1979.

Survivors include two sons, Dewey A. Bond of Amarillo; and John Prowers of El Paso; a daughter, Ramona DeLoe of Borger; two sisters, Beatrice Johnson of Amarillo; and Dorris Dutton of Kerrville; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
