*Obituary
Services for George G. Boyd of 401 Broadmoor will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Dale Younce, pastor of Faith Covenant Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Boyd died at 4 a.m. Tuesday in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife, a son, a brother and three grandchildren.
Casketbearers will be Lester Wiles, J.C. Birtell, Roy Moody, Dr. Will F. Graham, Richard N. Elkins and Vance R. Bogart.
Honorary casketbearers will be Don Baker, Bob Takewell, Dr. M.M. Stephens, Bob Johnson, Joe Sneed, Rad Willis and Bruce Ferrell.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Faith Covenant building fund.
