PANHANDLE - E.D. "Monk" Boyes, 85, died Saturday, March 20, 1999.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Powell officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Borger, by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Boyes was born in Priddy and moved to Panhandle from Newhall, Calif., where he had been a member of the Moose Lodge for 20 years. He was a self employed welder and a member of the Baptist Church.
His wife, Etta Lorene Boyes, died in 1983.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Cook of Panhandle and Loretta Price of Frisco; six grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren.
