*Obituary
Mrs. Cecile Brindley, 85, Borger, died Monday, Aug. 29, 1994 in Seton Hospital in Austin.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Cistern, she had been a Borger resident for 43 years. She was a retired office manager for Doctors Knowles, Holmes, and Wheeler. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and a charter member of Altrusa Club. She was a member of Paragon Club, and she had served on the hospital board of directors, and the Housing Authority Board. She was a member of Daughters of American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Claunch G. Brindley in 1958, and a son, Dr. Bethea Brindley in 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Paul Brindley of Houston; and Dr. Mace Brindley of Waco; a brother, Roy Hart of Sun City, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; two nieces; and three nephews.
