BORGER - Jimmie F. Briscoe, 72, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Highland Park Cemetery with Richard Kasko, minister of Fritch Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Briscoe worked for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 40 years before retiring in 1991. He was a graduate of Phillips High School and attended Frank Phillips College.
Survivors include his wife, Waynita; a son, Mark Briscoe of Borger; two daughters, Lanay Trout of Lubbock and Leigh Ann Hutton of Borger; his mother, Ruby C. Briscoe of Borger; a brother, Bill Briscoe of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Mary Gurley of Georgetown and Loretta Ford of Edgewood; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to High Plains Children's Home, 11461 S. Western St., Amarillo, TX 79118.
