Funeral services for James Edward Bullard, 56, of Dial, will be held at Riverview Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. H.L. Morphis officiating.

Bullard died Saturday afternoon of a heart attack at the Phillips Medical Center. He had been taken to the center from the Phillips Rice Plant at Dial.

A resident of the Borger area for 23 years, Bullard is survived by the widow, Thelma; one daughter, Joyce; six sons, Kenneth and Larry of the home, Donald of Dallas, J.W. of Dallas, Riley of Electric City, and Wayne of Amarillo.

Also his mother, Mrs. Lottie Bullard of Tyler; two brothers, five sisters, and 11 grandchildren.

Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery, under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be O.R. Carpenter, F.F. Lane, Roger Yungblut, Oscar Doughty, Henry Wilson and Albert Moore.
