*Obituary
Mrs. Grover (Johnnie Mae) Burks, 46, 16 Noland, Phillips, died at approximately 10:30 a.m. today at North Plains Hospital. She had been in ill health for some time.
A longtime resident of Phillips, she was a member of the Phillips Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Randall and Robert of the home; four daughters, Linda Sue of the home, Mrs. George Fisher and Mrs. Bud Moulton, both of Phillips and Mrs. Jess Kaps of Borger; her mother, Mrs. Pearl Liles of Hearne; her step-father, Travis Liles, also of Hearne; one sister, Mrs. Alice Pearce of Houston and two brothers, Tommy Reynolds of Houston and James Tullous of Puerto Rico.
Funeral services are pending with Simpson's Funeral Home.
