The body of J.D. Barrage [sic], 53, who is reported to have been killed in an automobile accident yesterday morning near Springfield, Mo., is being brought to Borger and funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Assembly of God church. The Rev. J.A. Thomas will officiate.

Details of the accident could not be learned immediately.

Beside the wife, Barrage [sic] is survived by two daughters, Mrs. M.L. Smith of Wink, Mrs. E. Huffhines of Roxana; four step-children, Mrs. Rosie Harmon, Mrs. Willie James, Mrs. Laura Cox, all of Borger, and G.E. Cornell of Portland, Ore.

Interment will be in Highland cemetery, under direction of the Powell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mary L. Burrage, 68, Borger resident for 20 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Everett Huffines near Skellytown late Monday morning.

She is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. Laura Cox of Borger, Mrs.H. Hoppe of Lefors, Mrs. M.L. Smith and Mrs. C.R. Jennings, both of Odessa; a son, George Cornell; 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the Blackburn-Shaw-Brown Funeral Home chapel at 3 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Smith of Skellytown officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
