Borger News Herald - September 21, 1959
Funeral services for William Bybee will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the First Methodist Church, of which he was a member. The pastor, the Rev. Lloyd Hamilton, will officiate assisted by the Rev. C. R. Copeland of Groom. Interment will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Simpson's Funeral Home.

Bybee, 79, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home, 522 N. McGee. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Willie; two daughters, Mrs. Esther Blain of Borger and Mrs. A. A. Rhea of Tyler; four sons, Jimmy and Elson Bybee of Phillips, Weldon and Robert Bybee of Borger; one sister; five brothers; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bybee was a resident of Borger for seven and a half years, at 1314 Patton Circle. She died at 4:10 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital.

Surviving are four sons, J. J. Bybee and Arthur E. Bybee of Phillips, Robert and J. W. Bybee of Borger; two daughters, Mrs. L. A. Blain of Borger, and Mrs. A. A. Rhea of Tyler; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
