Dock Cannaday, Jr., 67, of 1217 Thompson died Monday at the Veteran's Hospital in Amarillo.
A pumper for Howell Petroleum, he was a native of Forst City, Arkansas, and a Borger resident since 1946.
He was a veteran of WWII and a member of Eternal Light Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pat of the home; a son, Jackie Cannaday of Fritch; three daughters, Lynn Butcher of Channing, Debby Kirksey of Fritch, Laurie Goforth of Claude; two sisters, Jewell Grubbs of Wolfe City, Minnie Richardson of Coolidge, Ariz.; two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Elvis Peck, pastor of Eternal Light Pentecostal Church, and Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor of First Assembly of God officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
