Services for Eddie Don Ryburn, 56, of Brownfield will be at 2pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Brownfield First Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter and Dr. Carl Moman officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Eddie passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011 in a Lubbock Hospital. He was born November 19, 1954 in Lubbock to Doug and Waneta (Brown) Ryburn. He graduated from Brownfield High School and then attended South Plains College. Eddie married Terry Biggerstaff on November 25, 1987 in Brownfield. He owned and operated Ryburns Muffler Shop for over 30 years. He loved riding horses and roping. He had served as County Commissioner for 4 years. Eddie was a past Chamber Board Member. He was a member of Brownfield First Christian Church. Eddie is preceded in death by his father in 2007.

Eddie is survived by his wife Terri of Brownfield; his mother, Waneta Ryburn of Brownfield; 2 sisters, Debra Adkins and husband Joe of Chino, CA. and Patti Law of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Brittney and Courtney Ryburn, both of Lubbock; grandchildren, Eddika Martinez and Devin Hines, both of Lubbock.
