James Ellis Jennings, 48, of Irving passed away suddenly on December 23, 2011. He was born in Perryton, Texas on December 31, 1962. James was a 1981 graduate of Seminole High School and was employed as an electrician with Humphrey and Associates. James is survived by his wife, Michelle, his three stepdaughters, Elizabeth, Caitlin and Rachel and his granddaughter Madison Elizabeth Adams. He was a loving son to his mother, Margarett Joyce Jennings of Seminole, Texas and a loving brother to Joyce Marie Jennings Garcia of Seminole and Dennis Wayne Jennings of Silverton, Texas. James was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Ellis, and his three brothers, Ricky Lee, Robert Alan, and Edwin Doyle. James had a large extended family with numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws throughout Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. James was a wonderful man, husband, father and grandfather; he leaves behind many good friends from throughout his life and will be remembered for his laid back demeanor and beautiful smile.
