Services for G. H. Crutcher, 90, of Brownfield were held Saturday, Dec. 29, at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with his sons Gary and Kent Crutcher officiating. Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Crutcher died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, in Brownfield. He was born Aug. 18, 1917, in Haskell County to O. P. and Annie Zee Crutcher. He was a WWII Army Veteran, receiving three Bronze Stars.
In 1929 he moved to Lynn County and then to Terry County in 1947. He farmed in the Tokio area starting in 1947.
Mr. Crutcher is preceded in death by a daughter--Karen Crutcher in 1999; two sisters--Nadine Seymone and LaRue Webb and two brothers--O.P. Crutcher and Raymond Crutcher.
He is survived by two sons--Gary and his wife--Myra and Kent and his wife--Loia, both of the Wellman area; one daughter--Stacy McFadden of Rainer, Ore.; one sister--Emma Jean Adamson of Tahoka and by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
