Final rites for George G. Chappell Jr., 48, a former Borger resident are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Hamilton, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary. Casketbearers are Chester Garst, Tony Young, Claude Blair, Al Summers, Bill Hamilton, and Basil Hindman.
Chappell was killed Friday in Bakersfield, Calif., while working for an electrical company. Memorial rites were held in Bakersfield Sunday before the body was returned to Borger.
