BORGER - Leon Cecil Chase, 63, died Sunday in his home.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Minton Memorial Chapel with Elder Y. A. Knutson officiating. Masonic graveside rites will be conducted at Highland Park Cemetery.

Mr. Chase was born at Wall Hill, Neb., and had been a resident of Borger since 1926. He was employed by Phillips Petroleum Co. from 1928 to 1946 and then became the owner of Tri-State Co. and Bowman-Chase Co.

He was a member of the Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints. He was also a Mason, Shriner, and a member of the Moose and Elks lodges and clubs. He was on the advisory board of the Salvation Army.

His wife, Mrs. Camille Margaret Chase, died in 1973.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dianne Kingery of Denver and Sharon Ann Chase of Borger; a brother, Arlington of Stanton, Calif.; a sister, Mr. Carol Jean Flaharity of Borger; and two grandsons.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Camile Chase, 61, of 802 Home Road, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday from Minton Memorial Chapel with Elder Y.A. Knutson of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Mrs. Chase was dead on arrival at 5 p.m. Tuesday at North Plains Hospital.

She has been a resident of Borger since 1928. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and of the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include her husband, L.C. of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Dianne Kingery of Denver, Colo. and Sharon Ann Chase of Canyon; and two grandchildren.
