Margie Lynch, age 86, of New Boston, Texas passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at a local hospital. Mrs. Lynch was born September 13, 1934 in Avery, Texas to John and Velma Murphy. She was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of the First Baptist Church, New Boston Texas where she was a children's Sunday School teacher for over 50 years, member of WMU, worked in VBS, and on Decorating Committee. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Jim Pat Tohill, sister, Mary McDuffie, and brother, Bill Murphy.
Survivors include one daughter and son in law, Lori and Bobby Nehrkorn, of New Boston, Texas, one grandson, Ryan Nehrkorn of New Boston, Texas, one sister-in-law Myrna Murphy of Avery, Texas, one brother Don Murphy, of Avery, Texas, one sister, Diane Lum of Marlo, Oklahoma, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the New Boston First Baptist Church with Dr. Ken Cox officiating. Interment will be at the Ringwood Cemetery, New Boston, Texas under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. till 2:00 P.M. at the Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children's Committee of First Baptist Church.
