Mr. William M. "Bill" Eggenburger Jr. of New Boston, Texas, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010, in a Texarkana hospital. Mr. Eggenburger was 85 years, 1 month and 5 days old. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of New Boston, Texas; a retired brick mason with Lone Star Steel; a 50 year Gold Card Member of the Brick Mason Union; and a good friend.
Mr. Eggenburger was preceded in death by his parents; a son: Paul Addinton; and a sister: Mary Laura Smith.
He is survived by his wife: Ruth Eggenburger; two sons: William M. "Billy" Eddenburger III and his wife: Linda, of New Boston, Texas and Raymond Addington and his wife: Waldene, of Troy, Illinois; a daughter: Stacy Davis and her husband: G.W. Davis III, of Spring Hill, Tennessee; a daughter-in-law: Donna Addington, of New Boston, Texas; a sister: Jeanne Goodwin, and her husband: Glen, of Nash, Texas; 13 wonderful grandchildren; 9 precious great-grandchildren; other relatives; and a host of dear friends.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, February 13, 2010, at the 1st Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas. Dr. Frank Brooks and Rev. L.B. Jordan, officiated the services.
Mr. Eggenburger was laid to rest at Ringwood Cemetery in New Boston, Texas.
