Services for John Ewing Norris, Jr, 51, were held at First Methodist Church officiated by Rev. O.A. McBrayer, the pastor and Rev. Howard Lyons.
The Norris family moved to Paducah in 1917 from Graham, Texas. The prominent Paducah resident has been associated with his father, John Ewing Norris, Sr in businesses at Paducah with J.E. Norris Furniture and Norris Funeral Home since finishing school. Mr. Norris was a member of the Methodist Church and Scottish Rite Masonic Shrine at Paducah.
Survived by his wife; his father and step-mother - Mrs. Rendie Norris; one daughter - Mary Grace Norris; one sister - Maud N. Morris; one brother - Kay Norris.
