Billy M. Suggs, Sr, 87, of Brownfield passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2010. Services will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 10th, at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Billy was born December 26, 1922 to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lee Suggs. He married Peggy Russell on September 11, 1952 in Longview.
She preceded him in death on March 12, 1998. Billy and Peggy moved to Brownfield in 1955. He worked for Ozark-Mahoning for 28 years until retiring in 1997. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was also a member of the VFW and Immanuel Baptist Church. Billy was also preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
