Howard G Clemmons, 72, of 1301 Francis St., died Saturday.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. W. R. Lawrence of Clarendon will officiate.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Clemmons was a retired employee of Phillips Petroleum Company. He was the owner of Howard G. Clemmons Decorating.

Born in Lebanon, Tenn., Mr. Clemmons had lived in Borger for 48 years.

He was a member of the Phillips First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Alice: a daughter, Mrs. Floyd A. Smith of Fritch; a sister Mrs. Glen E. Elliot of Borger; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny, in 1952, and a daughter, Rosalie Ann Doyle, in 1978.

Mary Alice Clemmons, 71, Borger, died Thursday morning, June 21, 1990, in Borger.

Funeral services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.

A native of San Antonio, she had been a Borger resident for 54 years. She was a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard D. Clemmons in 1984; a son, Johnny Clemmons in 1952; and a daughter, Rosalie Ann Doyle in 1978.

Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Smith of Fritch; four grandchildren, Lynne Gribben of San Antonio; Christi Anne Forsha of Fritch; Emily Doyle of Borger; and Anthony Doyle of Germany; and three great-grandchildren.
