Final rites for Mrs. Alma Hazel Cox, who died Monday at her home, were held at 2 p.m. today in the Church of the Nazarene. The pastor, the Rev. Amos R. Meador, officiated. Interment was in Highland Park cemetery under the direction of Simpson's Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Carl Floyd, J.L. Sibley, L.L. Langley, Lefty Langley, L.J. Head and Willis Zollars.
Mrs. Cox is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jack Haney of Borger; four sons, J.B. Jr., Glen and Floyd Cox, all of Borger, Douglas Cox of Wichita, Kansas; a brother, Clyde Blochlett [sic] of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Mrs. Ollie Otten of Lincoln, Nebraska, Mrs. Goldie Ingle of El Paso, Mrs. Fred Horton and Mrs. Lew Horton, both of Roswell, New Mexico and seven grandchildren.
