Final rites for Eugene Proctor Cox, 50, longtime Borger resident are pending with Minton Mortuary. Cox died Wednesday night in North Plains Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth of 400 Whittenburg; son Eugene Cox Jr., Mesquite, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Cox of Borger, Mrs. Elaine Eisenman, Gloster, N.J.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Mays of Borger; four brothers, James R. Cox, Truman Cox, and R.C. Mays Jr., all of Borger, and Johnny Glover of Roseburg, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Brown of Borger, Mrs. Alice Morrow of Colorado Springs; and five grandchildren.
