Bennie "Sonney" Craig, 58, of Sanford, died July 2, in St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo.
A retired employee of the city of Borger, he was a native of Kentucky and a Borger area resident for 33 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sanford.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, and father-in-law, John Mills.
Services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
He family will be staying at 1112 Elmore in Borger.
Memorials may be made to E.M.S. Volunteer Association Group in care of Fern Whipkey, Box 37, Sanford, 79078.

BORGER - Marilyn Katherine Craig, 67, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Highland Park Cemetery with Bob Thomas, chaplain of Odyssey HealthCare, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Craig was born Jan. 1, 1941, in Bristow, Okla. She was a waitress at several restaurants.
The family suggests memorials be to Odyssey Health Care, 6900 W. Interstate 40, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.
