Homer Jack "Catfish" Crawford, 69, of Borger died today at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Sasakwa, Okla., he was a Borger resident for 45 years.

He was a retired valve mechanic for Phillips Petroleum Company. He was a Baptist, member of the Smokey City CB Club, and Civil Corps of Engineers.

Survivors include his wife, Maurine of the home; one daughter, Norma Crawford of Borger; one step-daughter, Linda Lehman of Vernon; one son, Loyd Crawford of Borger; one step-son, Richard Brown of LaGrange; one sister, Leta Nowell of Valliant, Okla.; one brother, Horace Crawford of Tillomook, Or.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. I. D. Crawford, 64, of 207 Dolomita St., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Crawford died Thursday at her home.

A native of Dardee, Okla., she had been a Borger resident for 33 years. She was a housewife and member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Homer; a daughter, Nora Crawford of Borger; a son, Loyd Crawford of Borger; and a grandchild.

Palbearers will be H.H. Barrett, W.B. Hancock, T.J. Rhoton, Y.L. Waldrop, W.C. White, and Woodrow Conyers.
