Funeral Rites Pend For Local Resident
John M. Crupper, 56, 104 First street, Phillips, died at 8:15 p.m. Sunday at the Phillips medical center. He had been a resident of Phillips for the past 10 years and was maintenance superintendent at Phillips Pantex plant.
He was a member of the Masonic lodge and the Methodist church and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Eva, two sons, Bill Crupper who is in the Navy and Jerry Crupper, Whiteface, Tex., a stepson Max Sherman, and a stepdaughter, Billie Sherman, both of the home; two brothers, C.A. Crupper, Tulsa, Okla.; C.A. Crupper, Richmond, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. S.W. Van Beek, Tulso [sic], Okla.; Mrs. P. Nikelson [sic], Natoma, Kan.; Mrs. Peggie Jones, Augusta, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Simpson Funeral home.

Memorial services for Eva Clara Crupper, 84, Borger, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Simmons, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funel [sic] Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Crupper died Monday, March 9, 1992 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A native of Viola, Ark.; she had been a Borger resident for 57 years. She was a beauty operator and member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Max Sherman of Austin; a daughter, Billie Wilson of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
