Services for Earl Danford Cunningham, 58, pioneer Borger resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Blackburn-Shaw-Brown Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Clifton Tennison, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate.

Cunningham, a resident since 1927, died at 7 p.m. Sunday at the veterans' facility at Kerrville.

He was a member of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts.

With his brother, Cunningham established the Cunningham Cab Company. He also established cab companies in Hobbs, N.M. and Gladewater, Texas.

Serving in World War I, he saw extensive service in France, and participated in the Meuse-Argonne engagement. He was badly gassed, and spent the past several years in Veterans' Hospitals in Amarillo, McKinney and Kerrville.

Survivors include two sons, Coburn and Delvan, both of Borger; two brothers, Jess and Victor, both of Borger; a half-brother, Wylie Hinds of Borger; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Kimbrough of Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Zella Storie [sic] of Borger; and two grandchildren.

Interment will be made in Highland Park Cemetery, with the Local V.F.W. post directing graveside rites.
