*Obituary
Eugene C. "Gene" Cunningham, 45, pioneer Borgan, died at North Plains Hospital early Monday morning after a brief illness.

Mr. Cunningham was a veteran of World War II. Surviving him are his wife, Lillian, a son, Raymond Gene, three brothers Jess, Earl and Victor, all of Borger, two sisters Mrs. Zell Storey, Borger, and Mrs. Thelma Kimbrought [sic], Wichita Falls.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the chapel of Blackburn-Shaw-Brown Funeral Home in Borger with the Rev. Paul Cullen, pastor of the First Baptist church officiating.

Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
