Death claimed Daniel D. Daugherty, 61, after a lingering illness, at 9 o'clock last night at his home north of Skelly camp.

He had lived in the Whittenburg community for the last ten years and was a retired blacksmith.

He is survived by his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Roy Carlson of Shidler, Okla., and Mrs. Agnes Venable of Houston; two brothers, Jack of Bartlesville and Benard of Beverly, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Woods of Beverly.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Carver Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. E.J. Reaves, pastor of the Phillips Methodist church officiating. Interment will be in Highland cemetery.

Pallbearers will be William Taylor, Allen Cartwright, Robert Dunn, Jess Reed, Harry White and Kenneth Ellis.

Carver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
