Alvin Eldridge Davis, 19-year-old Borger youth died early yesterday afternoon at a local hospital after a three weeks illness of typhoid fever.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is lying in state at the Powell Funeral Home, which has charge of the arrangements.
Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Davis; four sisters, Mrs. J.W. Immel, Mrs. W.N. Wells, Bertha Davis, Elsie Davis; four brothers Haskell, Ruel, Glenn, and Elmer Davis; one cousin, Lavoice Carroll; two aunts and two uncles, Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Carroll and Mr. and Mrs. Ponnie Carroll all of Borger.
His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Carroll, McAlester, Okla., also survive.
Alvin Frederick was born Oct. 28, 1920, at Oknee [sic] , Okla.
