Final rites for R.L. Davis will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Calvary Baptist church with Dr. Clifton Tennison, pastor, officiating.
Pallbearers are Bob and Raymond Yoakum, Paul Sanderson, Bill Woods, Earl Miller and Bud McPatridge. Burial will be in the local cemetery.
Davis died Tuesday of injuries suffered when he was struck by a car Sunday night. He was 54 years old.

Funeral services for Bessie Davis, 87, Borger, were at 11 a.m. today at the Universal Ministries of Truth with the Rev. Mel Turpin, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Davis died Thursday, June 6, 1991 in North East Community Hospital in Bedford.
A native of Red River County, Texas, she had been a Borger resident since 1941. She was a nurses aid in nursing homes, and member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She married Robert Davis in 1918. He died in 1955.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Harvey Davis, Amos Davis, and Robert Davis, Jr.
Survivors include two sons, Eugene Davis and Andy Davis, both of Borger; five daughters, Mildred Thomas of Paris, Texas; Mary Davis of Austin; Estelle Tollison of Burleson; Helen Dering of Colleyville; Sharon Eller of Issequah, Wash.; a sister, Daisy Keyser of Galena, Kan.; 31 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Harvey Davis, Johnny Tollison, Bryon Tollison, Russell Cantrell, Michael Davis, Todd Kile, Jimmy Davis, and Russell Davis.
